Wow, this is so well written and structured. So well that it makes perfect sense. You know, your greatest power is that eloquence and your ability to say so much using so few words. I love reading everything you write. Bravo!!!❤️
I feel this from both sides. As a prarent to boys in a rough world - I tried to encourage gentleness, but the world wanted other wise. You want to save pain, but killing the softness is pain. I love you can be free in nature and with animals. Softness with humans is a whole other ball game💕
to hide it.”—this line spoke volumes. You never truly “fix” your depth cause it’s not something that’s meant for you to get rid of. There’s nothing wrong with being honest and vulnerable, there are just people who can’t handle it themselves. In time you will find people you can be honest with
Beautiful....it reminded me of when my dad would try to cure my fear of the dark. He'd take me out to lay in the grass on the front lawn and see the beautiful stars in the sky, working to convince me that there's nothing to fear by looking into the dark. There is beauty there you can't see at other times.

Sure does!
It's good to know there's still a soft heart inside.💖
Not always, but I'd love to see you as one who does. A hard heart for protection, and a soft heart to be able to love again.
"and only let it out
around animals,
because that’s the only time
it feels safe to." - that hits home🥹
